VLC Android on Nvidia Sheild TV Pro Thumbnails not working

Hello,

I am using a external usb drive to play videos on my nvidia sheild tv pro and all the thumbnails for my videos are the same and I can't for the life of me get them to be different ones for each video...they were fine for a while but not now.
